Suddenly, on April 17, 2019 due to an aneurysm.
Paul will be sadly missed by his loving wife Diane Rennie. Loving son of Hugh O'Connor and the late Marion O'Connor. Brother to Sharon, Jeffrey and the late Colleen and Mark O'Connor. I went to high school with Paul, and vividly recall the day he had his moped accident. He overcame it and went on to be the lighting tech for cirque, and a long career in Ottawa. His father Hugh and my late father Norm Clarke were friends as well. We lost touch in the 90s, but he knew many of my music biz friends. I will never forget his kindness. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Paul and I attended school on CFB Rockliffe Air Base together. I bumped into him years later on Elgin Street, I recognized him right away. We had a good chat about the old days. I always remembered Paul for being just a great guy and I never forgot him. My condolences to Paul’s extended family. God bless.

I am extremely saddened to hear the news of Paul’s passing... so unexpected and so unfair for a kind, genltle, hard-working and loving soul, who will be greatly missed by all. I will cherish fond memories of working with him and discussing music and sailing. I will be thinking of him as I am onboard a sailboat now in the Pacific and will make a small offering to his memory while at sea. Fair winds my friend!

My deepest sympathy to Paul’s family and friends
I met Paul and Diane in February 2018 in Cuba and was delighted to see them again in October 2018 at the same resort. Paul was such a lovely, gentle man. He will be dearly missed.
