We lost a great friend and colleague who touched so many people by his devotion for success in all his projects. My most sincere condolences. Chimo Jacques and RIP.
As Michel mentions, I too am absolutely astonished by Jacque's passing. Although both anciens du 5e, I knew Jacques best from 2 months close quarters during the old Engineer Equipment Officer Course in Camp Lejeune in '83. I came to know him at the time as somewhat an "out of the box" thinker . . . almost anything he discussed made everyone around him stop for a second and seriously consider what he was saying. Some of it was quite weird but a lot indicated his quick wit, imagination and above all superior intellect. I had a lot of time to listen to Jacques during that course and I'd like to believe my life and military experience was the better for it. Sleep well my friend . . . I'll pay my respects to you a little later in the summer . . .
