Passed away at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Thursday, June 16th 2022. Loving partner of Fang Tian. Cherished father of Isaac Da Silva Aboo, Sofia da Silva Aboo and Haowei Tian.
Aboo was a kind, supportive and loving father. He always cared about the people around him, which was apparent through his career as an exceptionally compassionate Doctor.
He will be remembered for his depth of wisdom, which he often shared with us through conversations about life, business and spirituality. Until his last moments, he stayed true to who he was. His strength and resilience were admirable, and that is something we will all take with us for the rest of our lives. He impacted numerous lives through his passion, and he will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Friday, June 24th, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

I learned of Dr. Aboo's passing from his office. It was a sad shock. He'd been my physician for almost ten years. He always had an easy, calm manner and always took the time to hear me out. He usually had something kind to say about the world and I always left his office knowing all was good in the world, even if it wasn't when I first went into his office. He had a way of making me feel safe and looked after. I thank him for that and appreciate the time he was my doctor. Rest in peace, lovely Dr. Aboo. You made a difference. My sincere condolences to his wife and children.

I was so shocked and saddened by the news when I called the office for a follow up visit. Just two weeks before that, we were in his office laughing together. I feel that we were on the same page about so many things! Dr Aboo was never just a doctor, but a friend. I always felt safer having him as my doctor. Where to find another one so trustworthy? Dr Aboo, may you rest in peace! I miss you already. May his loved ones find strength and wisdom to continue their life journey. What a loss!
