My deepest condolences to my cousins Michelle and Charlene the rest of the Redekopp family and Pat. I have such wonderful memories of Uncle Art. The picture here truly captures his essence. I recall his kind demeanor, his smile, and how he told such wonderful stories. We, as kids, got the chance to hear some of those stories while other times we enjoyed all the games he always had stocked at his home. Going to Uncle Art’s for supper was always a pleasure and welcomed adventure. He will be missed and will forever remain in my heart. God bless.

As his Pastoral Care visitor for the past two years, I got to know Art as a friend and will miss our long and interesting conversations over coffee. A fine gentleman.

I am happy I got to meet Art (through Pat Brown). A dear relative, if only a 3rd or 4th cousin. Rest in peace.

Art was a valued member of Rideau Park United Church. We shared many interesting conversations over the years. Every time I stand on a chair in my kitchen I recall Art's story about doing the same and the unfortunate result. Art's goodwill and pleasant manner will be missed by myself and his many friends at Rideau Park. My sincere condolences to his family.
Rideau Park United Church Harmony Club

We were very close friends for over 60 years. We watched our children grow up together until his family was moved to Ottawa. Even then, we still stayed in touch and visited often. Over the past year we had regular phone conversations and often visited the past. We will miss Art his stories and his humour.
We send our sympathy to Michelle, Charlene and family.

I have known Art for a long time as a band member of OCCB and Rockland....We would travel together on many occasions. Art liked to discuss music, politics, science and much more...He always had a funny story to make us laugh....I will miss him....RIP Art!
Very sad to hear of the passing of one of my best friends. You are one of the best and I will always think of you and Gil as a team of dynamos. May angels guide thee to thy rest.
