Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 63 on December 4th 2020. Predeceased by his wife Renée, as well as his parents, Alexander and Edith.  David will be remembered for his kind nature and putting others before all else. Whether it was throughout his fulfilling career of over 30 years at Finance and the Treasury Board, being a best friend and go-to handyman to all his friends and neighbours, or caring for his family, he was devoted to giving of himself and bringing joy to those around him. David leaves behind his adoring daughter, Alexandra, his sister Debbie (Todd), his mother-in-law Pat (Dewar), nieces and nephews (Briena, Brooke, and Danny), and many loving friends.  Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, a private service will be held for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a cause near and dear to David, the Canadian Cancer Society.

An absolutely great man. One that was always kind and welcoming. His humour was like no other, heart was bigger than any, and he could leave a good mark on you with just one greeting. I am heartbroken by this loss and my condolences go out to Ally, her close friends as well Daves friends and family. He was loved and adored by so many. Sending all my love and positivity. He will be missed.
