Sanjeev, you were my first introduction to military leadership as my section 2i/c on my basic. You taught me discipline and showed me that a leader can be strict and a friend.
We had some crazy times and wild nights were you always able to ramp up or defuse a situation with your sense of humor.
You leave a hole that can never be filled, you will be missed.
My condolences to the Chauhan family.
Untill Valhalla, my brother!

We seen many sunsets in Afghanistan and in Canada together, laughed, enjoyed our talks and deep discussions. Our loss is heavens gain. RIP
So terribly sad to hear this awful news. I spent just two weeks with Sanjeev on exercise in Germany many years ago, 2007, maybe, and we stayed in touch over the years. Two weeks spent with Sanjeev were more than enough to leave lasting memories, mainly of crying with laughter. A gentleman, a very fine soldier, and wonderful company. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
