I remember Gus from RMC days however our paths did not pass more than once after graduation. He will be missed.

Gus was a close classmate at RMC from day one in 1959. We served together in several RCN ships and were naval aviators in HMCS Bonaventure. A great comrade and a fine gentleman, we will be there on Thursday.

Eleanor and family. I wish I could have found a way to be here with you today. I am writing this with a heavy heart. I will always remember Gus as a gentleman. One who would greet me with a smile and some kind words, he always made me feel a part of the family. I am fortunate to be Gus's brother-in-law.
Eleanor, I hope today goes well and I will be thinking of you all.

Gus was a great friend and Royal Military College of Canada classmate. Gus and Ellie were a loving and dynamic couple, always fun to be with. He will be sorely missed.
