Barry David Jackson, 64, of Ottawa sadly left us on August 31, 2022. Barry was born on December 23, 1957 in the city of Ottawa to the late Pearl (née Monk) and Jim Jackson. Forever remembered by his children Collin, Krista and his brother Charles.
Barry enjoyed spending time on the lake with his friends and family, as well as enjoying listening to hockey games by the campfire or cooking a special dinner for his loved ones. He was committed to family; making sure that all received support to achieve their highest potential. Barry will be missed, but not forgotten.
The family would like to thank the staff at Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital for their compassionate care during Barry’s final days.
Thoughts and memories still remain, for every lure cast, you are always with us. -Collin and Krista
As per Barry’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

Krista and Collin, so sorry to hear of your loss. Barry was a big part of the lives of many kids that player soccer with the Hotspurs. Hi Krista and Collin. Sorry to hear the news about your Dad, Barry, who was a big part of our Nepean Hotspur soccer life when Christiane and Michaela were growing up. He was a friendly guy and a valued counsellor on soccer matters, and it was nice to see him from time to time in post-soccer years. Our sincere condolences.
Dear Krista & Collin, our deepest sympathies to both of you.
We are thankful for the great memories that we shared together. From childhood gatherings to adulthood, there was never a dull moment with Barry. He will be forever in our memories.
