A steady helpmeet to Joan; serious with a twinkle; always up for adventure on the tours he, Joan and I took together; made a mean latte. Lost too soon. Remembered always. Love to the family.

Difficile de croire que nous ne verrons plus le sourire de Rob. Joan, on pense fort à toi et tes enfants et petits enfants. On sera en communion avec vous Mercredi. Avec toute notre amitié.

Rob was such a kind, loving person. I admired his keen intelligence, interested in everything, and his pursuit of and appreciation of knowledge especially in the arts and culture. His love and dedication to Joan and his family is a model for all for all of us. He will be greatly missed.

Rob was a guiding light for me ever since we met in the late 90s. He was a modest and brilliant man, and was kind to all. Edith and I give our condolences to Joan and the family.
There are no words to express the loss of such a wonderful man .....a friend forever .
