Angelita Mendoza de los Reyes, 70 of Makati City, passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home on Boyle Street, Palanan, Makati City on April 1st, 2021. She was born on May 17, 1950 in Alfonso, Cavite, Philippines. She finished her Masters of Arts in Educational Management at the Philippine Normal University in 2003. She devoted over four decades of her career to Colegio de San Juan de Letran as an elementary teacher, Principal of the Basic Education department, faculty member of the College of Education, and Dean of Letran Bataan College. She was also corporate secretary and member of the Letran Board of Trustees. Her last role at Letran was that of a Program Chair and part-time faculty member of the College of Education.
She was a beautiful human being – a Ninang and mother figure to many, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, an inspiring teacher, mentor and colleague. She was lovingly referred to by her family and dear friends as “Lita”, “Litz”, “Angie”, “Ma’am De Lo”, and of course, “Ninang.” She was the kindest, caring and most generous there is. She loved music and played the piano. She loved being with her family and her friends. She is missed tremendously.
Preceded in death by: Her parents, Melanio de los Reyes, Juana de los Reyes; Grandparents: Manuel Valderama-de los Reyes, Gregoria Fidel-de los Reyes; Macario Mendoza and Felisa Mendoza

Lita was not just a first cousin to me. We considered each other as sisters. We had good childhood memories especially when I used to go on summer vacation with her in Alfonso. She lived with us during her high school days. She was a woman with a big caring heart. I miss you so much. But I know you are in God's kingdom now together with your parents. I love you and you will remain in my heart and in my thoughts forever.
