Deepest and Sincerest Sympathies and Condolences to Edwards Family. I first met Edward at my very first UELAC Conference Manitoba 20+ years ago. Seeing a "Kipp" on the attendees roster, I had to find him. Luckily, I did and mentioned that we were distant cousins(Steynmets/Kipp) dating to New Amsterdam (now Ney York) in the mid 1600s.

My condolences to Ed's family from all of us at St.Lawrence Branch. He was a great asset to us in Mohawk valley trips then branch newletter editor. His passing is a great loss to all the branches he helped and the UELAC overall. Ed thank you for your loyally and voluntarism. Ed you now can complete your family tree with unlimited time and actual ancestors to attest to it. It is unfortunate that the pandemic cant give you the send off that you really deserve. You and your family are in our hearts and prayers.

My most sincere sympathy to Elizabeth and the other members of Ed's family. Ed was a most valued member of the Sir Guy Carleton Branch of the United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada for many years and was responsible for some significant contributions to our organization. He will be much missed.

One evening I typed in my grandfather’s name and discovered the mass of Edward”s work. It was the beginning of a great adventure as I explored this amazing family tree he had assembled. Eventually I had the pleasure of spending a few days with Edward and Elizabeth. It was so lovely to meet them both. I will always remember Edward for opening the door for me to this amazing adventure.
