Succumbed to heart failure after a long struggle with poems disease, a rare and complex blood cancer, on February 13, 2021.

He leaves to mourn his wife Rosemary and the two daughters he adored, Alexis and Brianna. Lt. Colonel Timothy Orange was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Joycelyn (nee Urquhart) Orange. Tim has now joined them and will enjoy their company at their place of rest.

Sister Virginia, brother Tom and partner Rose Austin, sisters Cynthia and brother-in-law Joseph Fardell, sister Maryanne and brother-in-law Gary Ross, know his stories will never rest until heaven‘s end.

Tim was a proud and devoted soldier in the Canadian Army during his 42 year career. Tim served with the Argylls and Sutherland Regiment, 2PPCLI, 3 Commando The Airborne Regiment, The Royal Regiment of Canada, The Lorne Scots, as their commanding officer and finished his career with the Royal Canadian Regiment.

He served all across the globe for Canada and regaled us with stories of serving during the Montreal Olympics, overseas tours in Cyprus, Bosnia and Afghanistan.

He adored his daughters Alexis and Brianna. Nothing was more important to him than knowing he set them up to launch careers in professional ballet and in the dramatic arts should they so choose. In surviving this complex disease he taught all who knew him how to truly give your all to every task at hand.

We will miss him with the same vigour.

Rest now dear soldier. We’ll miss you and will be watching for you. Winds 5. Carry on. Booyah.

It was a honor and pleasure to serve with Tim in The Royal Regiment of Canada. He was great officer, soldier, mentor and friend. He led by example and his knowledge and experience were passed onto us. He'll be missed and always remembered

Tim was amazingly attentive, always working towards setting those around him up with the best and always willing to give you his time and input. His advice given between my basic training phases are words that will echo with me throughout my career. He will be missed!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tim when I made a brief exchange in Canada, he always showed himself to be a very cheerful and smiling person even in the face of the situation he was going through. The few moments I had with him were forever marked by a contagious smile. My sincere sympathy to Rosemary, Brianna, Alexis and family!

With love and fond memories of special shared meals with the family. May Tim be at many more with us all in spirit in the future. You were a good man, Tim. I am glad I got to know you a little. Your legacy lives on in the beautiful daughters you and Rosemary created. God speed. Rest.

Tim was a great guy and will be sorely missed. One of my successes during my command was getting Tim to transfer in. Our sympathies to Rose and the kids.
