On Wednesday December 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Col (Retired) Charles Arnold Millar. Dear mother of David (Amy), Nancy (David Kolody), and Heather. Daughter of the late Delbert and Lena (née Langille) Thompson formerly of Saint John County NB. Survived by six grandchildren in BC and NB; Tiffany, Steven, Melissa, Levi, Justin, Rowan, and great-granddaughters; Karys, Kylie, Scarlett and Lilah.

Originally from Saint John and St. Martins NB, she graduated from the Saint John General Hospital School of Nursing in 1951 and will be remembered by many friends from SJGH, New Rochelle (NY) Hospital, Coqua11iza Indian Hospital (Sardis BC), Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Pine Hill Estates (Kanata), and the

many military postings with her husband across Canada and in England. Special thanks to the Staff of the Stonehaven Manor, the Champlain LHIN and Beechwood Cemetery for their care and support.

At her request, there will be no visitation. A private interment will follow cremation.

In her memory, donations to Saint Elizabeth Foundation www.sehc.com or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation www.ottawacancer.ca are appreciated by the family.

Saint John General Hospital School for Nurses Alumnae

Our nurses alumnae wishes to express our sympathy to you the family of our friend and fellow graduate, Dorothy (Thompson) Millar. Dorothy lived a full life and will certainly be missed by you and also her friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
As is our practice, we are making a donation to our SJGH School for Nurses Alumnae Scholarship Fund in memory of Dorothy. Our scholarships are awarded annually to deserving
UNB Saint John nursing students who excel in Geriatric Nursing.
