Claire Boudreau, former Chief Herald of Canada, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020 after a 13-month battle with brain cancer. She is survived by her father Ernest Boudreau, mother Olga Beaubien, brother François Boudreau and husband James Wilkinson.
Our thanks go out to the nurses and doctors at the Bruyère Hospital and the nurses and staff at the Amica at Westboro Park Residence for all the care and comfort they provided to Claire in her final weeks.
The visitation will be held at Beechwood Cemetery on Friday, November 27 at 10:00am followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am. The visitation and service will be limited to close friends and family only.
For those who wish, a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or any other agency that addresses cancer in its mandate, would be great appreciated.
Claire Boudreau, ancienne Héraut d’armes du Canada, est décédée paisiblement le 17 novembre 2020 après un combat de 13 mois contre le cancer du cerveau. Elle laisse dans le deuil son père Ernest Boudreau, sa mère Olga Beaubien, son frère François Boudreau et son mari James Wilkinson.
Nous remercions l’équipe médicale de l’Hôpital Bruyère ainsi que les infirmières et le personnel de la résidence Amica at Westboro Park pour les soins et le soutien apportés à Claire au cours de ses dernières semaines.
La famille accueillera parents et amis proches, dans l’intimité, au cimetière Beechwood le vendredi 27 novembre à 10 h. Le service commémoratif suivra à 11 h.
