Korean War Veteran

Recipient of Queen’s Jubilee Medal

It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Lucano announce his sudden passing peacefully at home.  Frank was in his 94th year.  He will be dearly missed by family and friends alike, especially his loving wife of 66 years,  Clara (Dennie).  Frank was predeceased by his parents Ilario and Esther and his sister Marie. He is survived by his sister Leona.  Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.   Loving father to John (Sharon), Paul, Lisa (Mark) and Mark (Chantal).   Dear Grandfather to Danielle (Kyle), Scott (Jillian), Lindsay, Hunter, and Brianna.  Great Grandfather to Ellanora, Griffin, Callum and William.

In his honour, a private family service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery on November 27th.  A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated.

Dear Uncle Sunny,
So sad to see you go,
But go you must I know.
I’ll miss your smile, your voice, the twinkle in your eye
I’ll miss your stories long and short, our chats, our laughs and more.
Always a gentleman
Always an adoring husband
Always a proud father
ALWAYS IN MY HEART ?
Rest Well Dear Uncle, till we meet again. Love Judy

I found this notice while googling the names of old friends. I remember Mr. Lucano (as I knew him at age seventeen) from when Paul was a friend in the 70s. Almost a year late though they may be, my conolences and best wishes to the Lucanos. payzonesw@gmail.com
