Marjorie Lillian Tomlinson (nee Wilkey)
February 5, 1924 – October 30, 2020
Marjorie passed away peacefully in her 97th year with family by her side. Survived by daughter Janet Krauskopf (Tom Doucette) and son David, grandchildren Jennifer (Phillip Desrochers), Alexander (Tanya Amyot) and Emma (Devon Vincent), and great-grandchildren Gabi, Olivia, Sophie, Leah, Tessa and Sienna. Also loving aunt to John Wilkey (Dang) and Sandra Sutherland (Doug). Predeceased by husbands Parker Tomlinson and Philip Nesrallah, parents Harry and Mina (Ruttan), and siblings Evelyn, Harold, Pauline (Howell) and Jean (Brown).
Marjorie was resourceful and creative, fiercely independent and, beyond all, loving. She was devoted to her family and for as long as she was able, she never let a birthday pass without a celebration, or a Christmas go by without a thoughtfully selected gift waiting under the tree. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her universe and, although robbed of her memories later in life, seeing them would still make her face light up with happiness. Their visits to her window in the last days of her life provided her with great joy.
Due to government-imposed restrictions related to COVID-19, attendance will be restricted to a limited number of individuals, personally invited by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask that a donation be made to the Osgoode Care Centre who provided exceptional care and compassion to Marjorie and family during her last days.
