Reza passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2020 at the age of 59. Reza leaves behind his loving daughter Aisa, his devoted parents Firoz and Naeimeh, his sisters Nasrin and Susan his brother in laws Hamidreza Dabirzadeh, Keyhan Afaghi and his three nieces, Anita, Armita and Sara.
Reza was born in Tabriz, Iran and went on to study engineering abroad. He was a successful businessman for over 20 years prior to immigrating to Canada to reunite with his parents and siblings. He had hoped to start a new career and chapter of his life in Canada, however this was tragically cut short too soon. Reza had a passion for fine food, great music, good wine, fast cars and most importantly, his family. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in peace.
Due to social constraints caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, a private family burial will take place at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services. My dear cousin Reza, it’s been 2 weeks that you are no longer with us; it is hard to believe you are gone. I remember the times we had when we were teenagers; we weren’t allowed to drive but you always loved driving cars. So, you used to use different objects like a robber door stopper to show you were a driver. You would use them as a wheel and made noise while pretending to drive a car. To this day, it still makes me laugh when I remember it- even Raheleh and Nadereh remember these memories. We all miss you and You will always be in our heart.
