Joan passed peacefully with her daughter by her side on August 10, 2020 at the age of 91. Predeceased by husband Louis Vezina.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Shauney Donoghue (Vince), grandsons Josh (Meaghan) and Jordan, great grand-daughter Adelynn Rose and cousins Pam Lovell (Ric) and Heather Price.
Joan held various positions during her career but most enjoyed her contact with students in her administrative role at Lisgar Collegiate. Her gentle nature and easy laugh endeared her to all who knew her.
The family extends special thanks to the compassionate staff on the second floor of Garry Armstrong Nursing Home and the exceptional pastoral care team of St. John Lutheran Church for the love shown to Joan over the years.
