Passed away peacefully in hospital on June 25, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Loving husband of 70 years to Connie (nee Raymond). Devoted and loving father to Garth (Brenda) of Calgary, Greg, Kim (Malcolm) Burrill and Karrie all of Ottawa. Proud and loving Bompa to Matthew, Ashley, Joshua, Brandon, Parker, Akasha, Alex, and Ryan and the late Scott and Evann. Survived by his brothers Wilmont “Bud” (Christine), Robert “Bob” (the late Ann), Edward “Skipper” and his sister Georgina (Nels) Blondin and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Ottawa Heart Institute for their care and support. Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to CHEO, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Ottawa Heart Institute.
