I had the privilege of knowing and working with BK. I always admired his humour, his joie de vivre, his professionalism as a flyer and his willingness to share his knowledge with others. The world is worse off without him. Heather and family- we are very sorry for your loss.

Our most sincere condolences on Brian’s passing . Lots of great memories from flying together on 405 Sqn. Also in the NSA PMO in Ottawa. From his periodic emails we witnessed how he put up such a courageous battle over so many months.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family .

I am so saddened by Brian's death; my heart is filled with tears, and my arms ache to hug the entire family. I met the Moore children all at once 40+ years ago. I understand they have all grown to be fantastic adults, of whom their father is very proud. Heather, you, your children, and grandchildren have the blessed task of carrying on Brian's positive attitude and gracious nature.

My sincere condolences to Heather and family. BK and I were on the same Argus crew when I was a green 20 year old Radio Officer in 1969, flying with Pete Conroy, Dave Owen, Roy Smith, Pux Barnes, Gerry Zanussi, Simon Picard Gerry Kiel and other reprobates. I always appreciated Brian's guidance and sense of humour. He was a stalwart troop right to the end.

My deepest sympathy to Heather and family. Brian's courage, his strength and his unrelenting optimism and good humour were amazing. All of us who knew him will miss him but we will not forget him.
We've known BK for more than 50 years. We visited him many times as his illness beat his body down but right until the end he was engaged, witty, and full of fight - never once complaining about his plight. Condolences and love to Heather and the family. He was one tough dude!
