After a courageous battle with Cancer and with family by his side, Nicolas Georges Karkach passed away on Sunday April 5th , 2020, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Sayde (née Issa) and loving father of Samia (Toni El-Azzi ), Georges, Hani and Hadi. Proud grandfather to Melissa, Andrew and William. He will be dearly missed by his sisters Lilly of Ottawa, and Ilham, Feryale (Fadlo Mackdessi) and many nieces and nephews in Lebanon.
Predeceased by his parents Georges Karkache & Rosa Chalabi, and his sister Samia, and his two brothers, Samy (Mona Saliba) & Khalil (Leila Achkar).
Due to the current restrictions, a private funeral of immediate family will be held at Beechwood Cemetery on Tuesday April 14th. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
