Passed peacefully on March 21, 2020 at the Ottawa Heart Institute. Born in Kaiping, China, she was the eldest daughter of Yin Chiu Kung and Kwai Sau Kung (nee Fong). Following time spent in Guangzhou and Hong Kong, she moved with her family to Canada in 1973, settling in Ottawa. She retired from the Marriott Hotel after more than 30 years of dedicated service in the industry.

Kam is survived by her husband of 57 years, Sek Keung Wong; daughter June So Chu (Don) Myles; son Glen Chun Yuen (Susan) Wong; her two grandsons, Nicholas Wong and Tristan Wong; brother Nelson (Lin) Kung; sister Jeannie (Henry) Lau and sister Anne (Chester) Lew. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Special thanks to the Heart Institute doctors and nurses that took care of Kam in her final days. She was laid to rest at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kam's name may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute https://foundation.ottawaheart.ca/

Dear June and Glen,
I missed your Mom, dearly. We, our classmates Canton China, and your Mom shared wonderful time and memories. We become very lonely at times, as many of our close friends leave us unexpectedly. Hopefully, we still can linger on those treasured moments, until one day some of us don't even remember who we are! We have fun and joy; we have through many new changes, including the convenience and affordability to travel abroad, social economics changes, technology advancement and now we are facing the war on Covid-19.
