After a long battle with cancer, it is with great sadness and sorrow, we announce that Tristan left us peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of Roger Neilson House Hospice Centre for children. Tristan will be forever missed by his father Andrew Peck, mother Deidre Peck, stepmothers Trish Bard and Lindsay Smith, sister Andrea Dillon-Lloyd, brother-in law Darren Dillion-Lloyd, and nephew Eligah Dillon-Lloyd. He has left behind his stepsister's, Jazmine Bard-Dupuis and Crystal Bard-Cleroux.
Tristan was a young man with high hopes who never stopped chasing his dream of becoming a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Prior to his final journey to Beechwood Cemetery, selected members of the Canadian Armed Forces paid their respects and he was escorted by an honour guard from the 2332 Major Holland VC Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps.
Tristan always said, "he was an army cadet first and a kid second". He inspired all who touched his life with his infectious smile and his love for life. Tristan never saw his disease as a barrier, just another challenge to overcome. Tristan would want all to remember "you are stronger than you believe".
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Barrhaven Legion, 3500 Fallowfield Road, Nepean on Sunday, March 15th, 2020 from 1 to 4:00PM.
Tristan will be interred at the Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa in the Spring of 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the Peck family is requesting donations to the Roger Neilson House Hospice Centre.

Ever since I met Tristan 3 years ago, he was always full of smiles and laughter that I will never forget. He touched my heart in so many ways and I am so blessed to have known such an amazing human being in my life. I especially admired his strength and the way he was so loving and caring always. Tristan, I still hear your voice in the back of my mind and your laughter when you joked around with your sister. I loved watching you play your video games that you played like a pro. I will never forget our outting in Merrickville just the 5 of us, it was truly an amazing day. We love you so much Buddy always and forever ! Until we meet again, it's not a goodbye, only a see you later ❤️
