Brian Smith passed away peacefully at the Royal Ottawa Hospital on January 8, 2020. He leaves behind ex-spouse Irina Smith and her daughter Katerina Pavlenko, as well as family from his previous marriage to Janet Smith, including Billy-James Langois, Francois Langois, Kollin Bean-Kavanagh, Robin Gough-Bean, Lisa Myhill, Melissa Thomas, Bryan Thomas, Darlene Loyer, Stephen Bean and Susan Thomas. He will be very fondly remembered by numerous friends including Peter Crowe and Tony Kavanagh.
A memorial service honouring his life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa ON.
