Passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 87. He was the son of the late Joseph Giangi and the late Eugenie Koussa. Beloved husband of the late Eugenie “Jeannette” Giangi. He leaves in sorrow his children Camille Giangi (Martina) and Jocelyne Liko (Wayne), his grandchildren: Adrian Giangi, Nick (Allie), Chris (Zara), Tasia (Sam) and Angelina (Jonah) and his great-grandson Teddy. He will be remembered by his only remaining surviving sister Rita Ronga as well as many nephews, nieces, and dear friends. Predeceased by his sister Marcelle (Renee) Giangi and his brothers Ernest, Henri, and Gabriel Giangi.

 

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Alta Vista Manor and the Glebe Centre for their kind and compassionate care of Victor.

 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 19, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Sainte-Geneviève Parish, 825 Canterbury Avenue Ottawa ON K1G 3A2. Followed by the burial at Beechwood Cemetery.

 

In Memory of Victor, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Christiane Farazli-Nawar and Yousri Nawar

Nous été très émus par la belle messe de funérailles de Victor et par la superbe oraison de Camille. Nous avons toujours eu beaucoup d'admiration pour Victor qui était un grand sportif. Il organisait pour nous des parties de volleyball à Beacon Hill auxquelles nous participions toujours avec enthousiasme. Monsieur Victor Giangi était le professeur titulaire de Yousri au petit Collège des Frères d'Heliopolis en 7ème.
Il res5era toujours dans notre mémoire et dans notre coeur.

De tout coeur et en union de prière, nous vous offrons Paule et moi, nos vives condoléances et nos profonds regrets pour le décès de notre ami Victor dont le départ laisse un très grand vide et nous appauvrit tout autant.

Homme aux grandes qualites de coeur et d'esprit, il savait répandre la joie autour de lui par son franc sourire, sa disponibilité et sa générosité.
A défaut de pouvoir vous exprimer en personne nos sentiments de partage et d'amitié, nous vous souhaitons, dans cette dure épreuve, beaucoup de courage et de consolation. J & P

Karim Giangi

I am the son of Henty Giangi , his brother who lived in Egypt , unfortunately i didn't knew him very well but my Father always told me that he was a very nice person , my sincere condolences may he rest in peace .
