Shirley, born in Ottawa, Ontario, in her 93rd year has gone to rest. Predeceased by her loving husband Donald and son David, mother and father Clarence and Agnes Johnston, sister Mary Pierce and brother-in-laws Robert Pierce and William Thomson. Survived by her children Margaret Davies of Kitchener, Ruth (Vaughn) Benson of Curran, Stewart Curry of Rockland. Dear grandmother of Stephanie and Matthew (Jennifer) Benson, Mark (Staci) and Scott (Sara) Davies as well as her 11 great-grandchildren, sister Beryl Thomson (William) of Ottawa. She will also be missed by many other family members and friends. Special thanks to all the staff at The Sarsfield Colonial Home for all their love and compassion.
