Marilyn passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the age of 66.

Beloved wife of Daniel Jodoin. Loving mother of Diane (Sam), Camille (Phil) and special pet Oliver. Dear sister of Margaret (Frank), Syl (Carol), Terry, Ruth, and Wayne (Robin). Predeceased by sister Diane (Bruce) and her parents Mary and Henry Allard. Dear sister-in-law of Cheryl (Tom), Penny (Jerry), Mark (Brenda) and Susan (Cliff). Predeceased by mother and father in-law Evelyn and Florentin (Peanut) Jodoin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn loved to read, to travel, to spend time with family and friends and to find a good bargain.

She lived a life devoted to God, sharing kindness and caring for others. She took many joys in simple pleasures.

She lived with a courage, strength and grace that has changed the lives of everyone around her.

Special thanks to Dr. Vickers, Dr. Bertens, Dr. Nair and the nurses of 5NE at the General Hospital. Thank you Father Tom Riopelle and Dr. Bright for comforting and providing Marilyn with quality care.

Funeral and internment will be held on August 5th at 1:00 PM at the Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa. All guests are invited to gather by 12:50 in front of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. in order to form a procession to the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Marilyn’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Society is appreciated.

Rest peacefully, Mom. We love you

To Marilyn's family,

Marilyn has been a colleague to me, a mentor and she become my friend. I will always remember how positive she was, even in the worst of time, how she loved talking about a good book, TV shows and most of all how she was caring for everyone around her. She also always had fun stories to tell! I really appreciated her and I will miss her deeply.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Manon
