Passed away at the Montfort Hospital, in Ottawa on Saturday, November 7, 2020; age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Joseph Gratton. Loving mother of Mario, Carole, Mona, Lise, Bernard and Gina. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Ovila and Gladys Dumoulin. Siblings Sylvia and Grace. Jane was an extraordinary sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law and friend who had a very strong Catholic faith. More than anything her family was her life. She had a big heart and a great sense of humour and was extremely stubborn. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. Your finally reunited with the love of your life, dad. You have touched more hearts and have impacted more lives then you know with just your words, let alone presence. You have created a beautiful family that many people call home. We will forever hold you in our hearts and minds and will forever miss you. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services will be kept private. For those who wish to make a donation in memory, may do so towards The Diabetes Association of Canada.

I am so sorry to hear of your families loss Mona. Care for one another, accept help from those that offer, don’t try to be too strong or try to keep up with all you may normally do during the holiday season. Time and love from family and friends will help you heal. Remember “Life is not forever, love is.” Author unknown Gayle
