On Monday, April 19th, 2021, James “Jim” Anderson went to be with the Lord whom he loved and served. Beloved husband of 54 years to Irene Anderson (nee Jaekel), who predeceased him in 2019. Uncle Jim will be dearly missed by many family members and friends whom he greatly influenced. He was an accomplished pianist, magician and preacher who brought joy and comfort to all who knew him. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at St. Vincent’s who met his physical and social needs over the past 16 months. His joy. Our sorrow. Due to COVID-19, a private burial will take place at North Russell Union Cemetery. A memorial service will take place at a later date once restrictions are lifted. I remember Jim from Grace & Truth Chapel. Many wonderful sing-a-longs. I also remember that he was a great speaker. Remember decorating their house while they were on their honeymoon — Turning his VW end to end in the laneway - Have not seen Jim for about 40 years. God bless the family Fred (& Ellie)

I will be forever grateful to Jim for his knowledge of scripture & his excellent teaching. I had the privilege of attending his Bible Study for several years when he travelled out to North Gower weekly to meet with our small group. Often Irene & their little white dog accompanied him. He was an excellent musician & gifted speaker. Much appreciated by many.
A very special man, quirky, kind and great sense of humour. Mainly thou he loved his Lord. Much loved by many he will be missed muchly.
