Horace Hollisford Carter, the son of Frederick Carter and Thelma Martin of Saint James, Port of Spain, Trinidad, W.I. passed away on the morning of 7 May, 2019 at the age of 83. He is predeceased by his siblings Irma, Herman, Kenneth, Kenrick, Selwyn, Jenny, Lea, and his eldest son, Nigel. He leaves behind his last remaining sister Enid, his sons Terence and Steven, his grand-daughters Brianna, Naomi, April and Tyra and countless nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed by his family and his many friends. Special thanks go out to the staff on the fifth floor at Extendicare Laurier Manor in Ottawa for providing such compassionate care during the last few years of his life. There will be a private service and reception on the 29th of May at the Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario. In memory of Horace, donations to the Ottawa branch of the Alzheimer Society of Ontario are appreciated.

Dear Terry and Stephen we are only finding out 1 year later about Hollis as we called Laurier Manor to inquire about him. We are so very sorry. Hollis was our very dear friend and he will be remembered. Our deepest condolences.
