His contributions to the college and his ability to inspire students will leave a lasting legacy.

Rang was our friend, and we will sorely miss him. He was a gentleman, a scholar, and a truly good person. The world is poorer with his departure.

Rang joined the RMC mathematics department in 1968, and I followed one year later. So, I had the privilege of knowing him for a long time. He was a theoretical physicist who produced many publications and became known to researchers around the world. He was an excellent teacher , first of mathematics, later in physics and space science courses.
I was fortunate when he asked me to join in his research projects. I was greatly impressed by how he knew what to do and how smart he was. He contributed much to RMC, two departments and to me personally. I am grateful to have known him.

Much has changed since we were young RMC mathematics faculty in the late sixties. For forty years Rang was fully committed to the College, to Canada and, not least, to his family. I will remember him as a man of high integrity, part of the backbone that sustained RMC's character through times of great change. We have lost a valued colleague and a good friend, and extend our heartfelt condolences to Shoba, Adam and family.

My sincerest condolences to you, Shoba, and your entire family.
I only met your dad a handful of times many moons ago now, but he was always pleasant and kind.
My deepest sympathies are with you.
