It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother Denise nee Bailey. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. Denise was a loving daughter, sister and a devout wife for 51 years, a devoted caring mother of seven children; Steven, Rick, Greg, Peter, Paul, Mathew and Susan, grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of four. She enjoyed 28 fabulous years modelling here in Ottawa starting in the mid 60s. She is now with the love of her life, our father Ken, our brother Peter and all her descendants before her.
We would like to give our most heartfelt thanks to: Dr Lisa Cross of Community Palliative Medicine Associates, Champlain LHIN, Carefor PSW’s Shugri, Nimo & Heather, Bayshore Home Health & At-Home Hospice Inc.
There will be a graveside service at a later date yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers please donate in-memoriam of Denise to University of Ottawa Heart Institute or a charity of your choosing, Thank you

It is with a heavy heart I write this message. My Mom was mostly a stay at home Mom but still had time to be a part time model. She was the rock that held our family close helping my Dad move from Ottawa to Nova Scotia then to British Columbia then back to Ottawa as our Father was a Captain in the Canadian Navy. Many time my Mom was left looking after 6 boys and 1 girl while Dad was gone doing his job. Try looking after 4 kids in cloth diapers at the same time with toddlers and young boys all around her. All seven of us were born a year or two apart. The devotion of both my Mom and Dad to raise a family should be celebrated and a remembered by all.
R.I.P. Mom this world has lost a true heroin of motherhood.
Her loving son Paul Emile WHITE.

My heart is so sad that I lost my loving beautiful Nanny. I loved our trips to Ottawa from Toronto, I was always so happy when I got to see her. As I would walk through the door she was look at me and say "I love you". It won't be the same without my Nanny. I aspire to be as strong and graceful as she was. I will always remember how kind she was to me.
I love my Nanny so much and will miss her greatly.
Love always,
Your granddaughter Alexandra
