Our Matriarch, passed away peacefully, on Monday, November 16, 2020 at the age of 77, following a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Lucien Giroux Sr. for 59 years. Loving mother to Lucien Jr. (Danielle), Gisele Oakley (Steve Davies), and Jacqueline (James South). Dear grandmother to Rebecca (Al Durant), Justine Newby (Alain Rozon), Jacob Giroux (Megan Findlay), Reanna Giroux, Samuel Oakley (Heather Countryman), Taylor South (Chelsea DeJong), Katelyn South (Matt Porter), Ewen and Cassidy Eaton. Proud great-grandmother to Carter Giroux, Chloe and Corbin Brunet, Silas and Tanis Rozon, and Wyatt Durant. Ann-Marie will also be missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care Team of Brockville, South East LHIN, Bayshore Nursing, and CarePartners PSW’s.
As per Ann-Marie’s wishes, all funeral arrangements are private at this time. A Service will be held in the Spring of 2021. Should you wish to make a donation in her memory, Ann-Marie requested all donations be directed towards to the Canadian Cancer Society.
