Dan passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024 at the age of 68. Just before his 69th birthday.

Dan enjoyed motorcycling, Sunday drives, making people laugh, and more than anything, he loved his family. They were his pride and joy. Humour was his medicine, and he had the biggest heart.

Dan was always there for his kids. Provided the best he knew how in all aspects of life. When spending time with his loved ones, Dan would often say that “memories are made of this”. He never took for granted the time he spent with his family.

Loving and proud father to Eric Dean, Shannon Matthews (Jay), Meaghan Chapman (Nick), Broghan Dean (Mostafa), and Carson Dean (Jessica). Cherished Grandfather of Ethan, Madisyn, Harper, Olivia, Jaxon, Dakota and Charles. Fondly remembered by Janice Dean. Predeceased by his parents, Neil Dean and Hazel Hammond, as well as his sister, Nancy Dean.

We love and miss you dearly, Pa/ Dad/ Daddy/ Grandfather/ Dan. You will always be in our hearts. XxxOoo

Dan’s family would like to sincerely thank all of their family, friends, and coworkers, for the love and support they have provided during this difficult time.

The immense pain and heart ache I go through on the daily is often masked by the sole fact I know you are no longer in pain. No words can describe this loss, as your Son “heir to your grey hair” your memory will live on FOREVER in my heart! Till we meet again. The girls and I miss you dearly

Carpe Diem & Vivat Jesus, Dad.
