We just heard the news this week Whitney and we are so very sorry for your loss. Dan was a great guy! Always had a smile on his face. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My condolences Whitney. We never met, but Dan and I deployed in 2015. We started a band at sea and we played music almost every night. He was a hard working man but an even more impressive musician. We called him the animal because he would let go of everything and looked like animal from muppets when we played. I am at a loss of words. What a tremendous loss to this world.

Whitney please accept Tracy’s and my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Dan.
We were shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden passing.
He will be missed.
My sincere. condolences. I knew Dan in my late teenage years and early twenties. We played chess and played adult as many times as we could together with Sam and Bryce. He always had words of wisdom and a belly laugh and I remember him fondly. A kind soul and a warm heart. May he rest in peace.
