Maggie passed away peacefully on October 03 at the age of 72 surrounded by her immediate family.
Loving wife and best friend of Gerald (Jerry) Bisson. Devoted mother to her children Annick (Bruno) and Patrick (Annie) and proud and cherished grandmother to James, Joshua, Ella, and Olivier.
She leaves behind her very close siblings, Louise (Robert), Robert (Mona), Jeanne (Raymond) and her in-laws Dennis (Louise) and Donna and many nephews and nieces.
Maggie had so many outstanding qualities, interpersonal skills, and interests; she will be missed dearly by many for her unwavering friendship, generosity, and love of life. She enhanced the lives of everyone she met.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined for relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the Ottawa Hospital Oncology Unit and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre for the excellent care received by so many. Donations to the Hospital in lieu of condolences would be appreciated.

I'm so sorry for you loss. She was so warm, friendly and inviting to all of us in Annie's family but especially to our Tahitian transplant. My heart goes out to you all.

Aunt Maggie.. I can't say enough. You took me under your wings when I needed someone the most. You never turned me away. I thought of you as a mom. I miss you so much. Love Diane

A Maya Angelou poem:
People will forget what you said,
People will forget what you did,
But people will never forget how you made them feel.
Maggie had a special talent to always make you feel special, important and loved. My life is richer for having her in it.
Enjoy the loving embraces waiting for you on the other side.
Miss you much,
Love Carol
