He became a caregiver to Wendy and worked to provide support and comfort in their later years together.  He loved baseball and hockey and became a well respected coach and mentor to many in both minor hockey (Ottawa West Golden Knights (late 70’s) Gloucester Rangers (90’s), Cumberland Minor Hockey(2000’s and minor softball Orleans Elite (90’s) associations. In his senior years, he took up golf with the same passion.  Henry (Hank) was a fierce friend, teammate and competitor, always willing to step up and take on a challenge, beloved by all who knew him.  He will be forever remembered for his demeanor as family leader, his commitment to others and his kindness. My deepest sympathy Erin and Tara! Your Dad was such a lovely man, full of fun and always kind and gentle. I have such fond memories of him and the years we all spent with he and Ron coaching together. Karen and I noticed he passed away May 4. That is the same day Ron passed away 9 years ago. I am sure Ron was there to welcome him and they are together talking about the ball games! He was a great Dad, and loved his family so much. I know he will be truly missed. Sending big hugs your way and wishes that the wonderful memories you have will be a comfort in the days ahead. Sincerely Judy

Our heartfelt condolences to Pat, Tara, Erin & family. Hank was kind & generous, a charming host, good sport & so easy to talk to. I will always have fond memories of him serving us drinks in the hot tub at our many girls nights before he managed to make his escape! Pat, so glad you were able to share a few happy years together. Hank, my friend, you will be missed.

Sorry for the family’s loss.

Hank was a kind and good hearted person with a great sense of humour. Always had a blast with lots of laughs at work and in golf tournaments. Another good one taken, so sad.
