A man filled with contagious love, laughter, and music. A man that put family and friends first. A man that made friends wherever he went and kept those friends forever. On Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, Kevin passed away peacefully after a courageous six year battle with cancer.
The many that knew Kevin were aware of his love of music, sports, and do not forget his hair. Many mullets will be styled, many rock songs will be played, and when we see #16 on the ice, we will always think of our Kevin.
Kevin will be forever missed by his adoring wife, Debbie (née Willoughby), his loving children who were his world, Victoria and Matthew, and we can not forget his cuddle buddy Waelynn. Kevin is survived and cherished by his mother and father, Murielle and Jeffery, and brothers Steven (Tasha) and Philip (Mélanie). Kevin was treasured by his mother-in-law, Myleeta Willoughby, and was deeply loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, countless dear friends, and colleagues. Kevin was predeceased by his beloved sister-in-law, Susan Cadieux (Patrick), and father-in-law, John Willoughby (Betty).
We would like to send our heartfelt thank you to all those involved in Kevin's care and the abundance of love and support we have received from friends and neighbours. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at May Court Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5 to 8:00PM. A Christian funeral service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 210 Wilbrod Street, on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 2:00PM.

I am very sad to hear of Kevin's passing. Kevin and I worked together for a several years, and I always admired and appreciated his intellect and dedication to his union role.
To Kevin's wife and children: when he spoke of you, which was all the time, his eyes would light up, and he just beamed with pride and love.
