Sadly, we must tell you that Paul has died. Left with wonderful memories of him are his parents Larry and Beth Boone, his sister Sharon Weatherall and her husband Scott, his niece Brittany Weatherall and her partner Greg Campbell.
Also remembering him is our wonderful extended family of ‘Brat’s’. They have surrounded him with care, joy, laughter, amazement, love and comfort.
Before the wheelchair, Paul bowled, skated, mini-putted and put thousands of miles on the tandem bike. He excelled at cribbage and loved card and board games. He treasured his cabinet full of bowling trophies. Paul loved hockey and cheered for both the Leafs and the Sens. Only a Loeb dance could take him away from ‘Hockey Night in Canada.’
He was a forever fan of Pat and Vanna, Alex and Bob Barker, even attending a Price is Right show in L.A.
Thank you Paul for putting up with us for 59 years, 3 months, 3 weeks and 6 days.
Thank you to Dr. Kim and the ICU staff for the warmth and care and the special kindness and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, July 8th, 2022 at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, ON) from 10am to 12noon followed by the interment.
As a tribute to Paul, do acknowledge those of his handicapped community with a smile and hello.

Dearest Beth and Larry, over the past three plus years, it has been a singular privilege to bear witness to Paul's encirclement of loving, dignified, and respectful care. As a family, you have been dedicated to one another, through unflinching advocacy, fair gamesmanship, love, and laughter. I will keep each of you in my thoughts and prayers, as you navigate the loss of Paul.

My heart goes out to Paul's family. I will always remember that the last dance at every Loeb dance was reserved for Mom. How much he loved Aktion club, going out with Ann Marie and Gisele to baseball and hockey games. Spending time with friends like Linda, Glenn and Pat. I met Paul in 1988 at Loeb Centre and loved his smile ..laugh...and sense of humor. He loved to poke at you with nicknames..
Although he didn't seem to impressed with me when I would poke at him. He will be missed by many but my heart truly goes out to the best parents a man could ever hope for...my deepest condolences ♥️

Beth, Larry, Sharon and family. Sending you my heartfelt condolences. So many wonderful memories spent at the cottage in Marmora. The games, swimming and so many laughs will be memories I will cherish.
I have no idea how Paul put up with his girl cousins😉
Much love,

Larry & Beth:
My sincere condolences in the passing of Paul. He was always a spirited individual, and I remember many years ago when he rode in the golf cart when we golfed at Hylands.
Thinking of you all, fondly, Susan

Dear Beth and Larry, you have my heartfelt sympathy at this time of loss. Paul was an extraordinary person, a man of courage and strength, and he was truly blessed to have you two as parents. You helped Paul live the best life possible. Keeping you in my thoughts. Carol
My dear cousin Paul, you, and your family are the definition of love. Your passion for many things of games, sports and physical activities has been inspiring to me. You worked hard to play and to adapt to the challenges that presented to you due to continuing changes in your mobility. You also liked to tease and I came to understand the words, "awful cousins" as a term of endearment. I learned many things from you, including how a smile and hello to every person is essential. Peace and love to you and your family.
