Passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Wednesday June 29,2022, Betty was born in Finch, Ontario to Mae and Hugh Cameron. Devoted wife of 62 years to Garnet Sauve. Loving Mother to Mary (Terry), Steven (Manon), Patricia Pharand (Denis), Pamela Boudreau, and Scott (Sue). Loving Nanny to Sarah Tabikh (Omar), Sean (Stephanie), Mackenzie (Chris) Sebastien, Christopher Sauve-Pharand (Melanie), Melanie Pharand, Amanda Pharand, Elissa Pharand, Nicole Pharand, Bradley Boudreau (Catherine), Ryan Boudreau, Robert Sauve (Kelsey) and Shane Sauve (Sarah). Devoted and Loving Great Nanny to Riley, Tamara, Jonathan, Melaodie, Nova, Wyatt, Logan, Jacob, Colin, Maxime, Noemie, Charlie, Rainey, Wren, Liam, Eddie and Adam. Sister to late George Cameron, late Manson, Joan Eamer, late Doug, late Carol Raderford, late Robert, Heather Dillon, Laura Young and Brian. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
We would like to thank Dr. Vincent and his amazing pallative care team at Champlain LHIN for all the support and loving care. Bayshore Nursing team and the Ottawa Parametic Unit. As well as Dr. Shamil Wijay for all his kindness and caring through the years.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Monday, July 18th at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), with a gathering from 12 noon until the time of Service at 1 p.m., followed by reception and interment in the National Military Cemetery located at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to CHEO or The Ottawa Hospital Foundation in her name would be appreciated.
