Ying loved to garden and had a knack for big, beautiful vegetables. She was a master gardener! Every year, she harvested many Chinese melons to enjoy over the winter for family and friends. Speaking of family and friends, Ying liked to keep up with everyone the old fashion way … the traditional home telephone which she spent hours and hours on!
In past years, Ying and Alexander travelled to countless wonderful destinations around the world. Among Ying’s favourite trips were to Hong Kong (where she spent her early adult years) and Hawaii.
Recently, in the last few years, Ying stayed close to home so she could enjoy creating memories with her 2 precious granddaughters, Cameela who is almost 3 years old and Sonya, just 2 months old. Ying, courageous and brave, will be missed and remembered always.
