FURMANCZYK, Roger
Passed away on August 30, 2021 after a long illness at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Renata and loving father of Peter and Paul (Nataly Vu Le). He will be dearly missed by many friends. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at St-Hyacinth Church followed by a burial at Beechwood Cemetery.

Has been great honour to working for many, many years with Roger on the Board of the Canadian Friends of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland, where Roger acted as the Treasurer and recently as the President of this charitable organisation. Rest in Peace Roger.

Roger and Renata were the first family my parents met and became friends with upon arriving to Ottawa from Poland over 35 years ago; they were so helpful in getting us oriented to this new life here. Roger was a good man, who cared deeply for his family and for the causes important to him; notably he devoted much of his time to the church and its causes. I will remember fondly his witty sense of humour. He will be dearly missed. My sincerest condolences to Renata, Peter, Paul and Nat, and the rest of the family. May he rest in peace.
