Passed away at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa on Thursday, August 12, 2021; at the age of 57. John leaves behind his daughter, Kristina, his favourite person on this earth; his son-in-law, Liam, whose woodworking he admired more than anything; Yogi Bear, his four-legged grandson, whom he lovingly renamed George, and many caring friends. His teasing, his laughter, and the ferocity in which he loved will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ottawa Humane Society - as he dearly enjoyed sending funny animal videos to his daughter.

John was such a funny man. I used to work in the bakery with him. Always making jokes and pulling pranks on us. He will truly be missed. ❤️

Kristina and extended family, our deepest condolences to you all. I worked with John at Metro in Orléans years ago. He was a good guy who loved to laugh.
