Peacefully at the age of 72.
He was the son of the late Jose Inacio De Sousa and the late Maria Da Conceicao Avila De Sousa and loving husband of Mariana Ledo. He will be sadly missed by his son Paul Enrique and granddaughters Lexia, Kayla and Chloe. He will also be missed by his loving brother Mario Jorge Avila De Sousa (Diane) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Paul Enrique Avila De Sousa.
A private family visitation and funeral service will be held at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre. A public Rite of Committal will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1:30PM at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa within Section 101.
In memoriam donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Dementia Society of Ottawa or to Diabetes Canada.

So sad to hear that Manuel passed away. Our sincere condolences to Marian and the family. We really enjoyed his company at the campground. He always had a smile and made us laugh. We know he was not feeling well these last couple of years. The good lord finally decided to take him home, and give him peace. Take care of yourself Marian, we know his illness was very hard on you too.
