SIGOUIN, “Friede” of Rockland, ON, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 10th at the age of 88. Predeceased by her dear husband Richard (2009). Loving mother to Kevin (Diane) and Peter (Gaby). Loving grandmother to Adrien, Rebecca, Bradley, Daniela and Mareike. She will be sadly missed by family, friends and loved ones.
Predeceased by her parents Karl and Maria Imgenberg. Due to COVID-19, a private memorial service will take place at St. Faustina Parish (Cumberland, ON), followed by a comital at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave.). Unfortunately I only got to meet Freida (Elfreide) during the last month prior to her passing. It only took me a few hours to appreciate and admire this generous, caring intelligent and graceful lady.....yes some lady!! She shared good memories of her childhood life and mariage to her Richard. I am confident that the two lovers have now been reunited and have the best seats in God’s home. My deepest sympathy goes to her sons, daughters-in-law, grandkids and her dear friends who also took care of her during her last days on this earth.....May God bless you Freida.
