Theresa Kathleen Oliver-Moore (née Brethour)

Passed peacefully on Thursday March 25, 2021 at the age of 72 after a short battle with pneumonia. Widow of the late Steven Oliver. Beloved mother to Christine (Mike Devoe), Cheryl (Mark McCue), and Matthew.  

Dear sister to Nancy, Joanne (Gerry Easey), and Paul, and will be dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  

Predeceased by her parents Theresa (née Wallace) and Borden Brethour, as well as her sister Barbara and her brother John.

Mum had a wry sense of humour, a mischievous smile, and laughed easily.  She felt passionately about music, and often went to live shows of her favourite bands throughout her life. 

In her younger years Mum played frisbee and tennis, was a member of various softball teams, and often took her daughters to local pools for swim and sun days.  She  appreciated art, collecting sculptures and pieces that brought her joy.

When Steven and his son Matthew came into her life, new traditions of weekly family trips to Dairy Queen and summer vacations in Kingston developed.

Theresa and Steven shared many adventures together, and loved to travel. They particularly enjoyed Mexico and Jamaica in winter, exploring little shops and spending leisurely days by the pool.
