Kronflé (Rose) Matta

(Née Wehbé)

Passed away peacefully at home in Ottawa, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the age of 72.

 

Beloved wife of Maurice Matta.

 

Loving mother of George (Tatiana Nassif), Walid (Linda Matamoros), and Sophie (Scott Kluke).

 

Dear sister of late Samir Wehbe (Nohad), late Samia Wehbe (Nehme), Antoinette Nemer (Late Gerious Nemer), Raymond Wehbe (Daad), Loris Khairallah (Nadim) and Pierre Wehbe (Samar), all in Lebanon.

 

Cherished teta of Rawane, Matthew, Mary, Melina, Noah, Lisa, Mia and Savian.

Kronflé will be dearly missed by her family, relatives and friends in Canada and Lebanon.

 

"A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the General Hospital Cancer center for the great care provided, and a sincere thank you to Dr Shamim Taherzadeh for his incredible compassion and ongoing support during this difficult time."

 

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday March 22, 2021 at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa., from 10:00 am to the time of funeral service at 11:00 am.

 

Due to government regulations, limited capacity, face masks and social distancing guidelines are in effect.

Je vais beaucoup m'ennuyer de ta bonne humeur et de ta générosité. Tu parlais toujours de la belle Mary qui allait à Lamoureux, a qui j'ai enseigné entre autre il y a quelques années. Tu étais si fière de la personne qu'elle devenait de jour en jour. Je te garde précieusement dans mon cœur!
