"Hi Neighbour!" This is the energetic friendly greeting I have received numerous times from Denis over the years since 1993. I miss it! I miss him! Denis was an awesome man, neighbour, trustworthy friend, caring doctor, proud father, hard working active individual, always helpful, very sincere, quick to share and give, full of cheerful humour; there is no end to the fond memories pouring out of my saddened mind. Denis would think nothing of giving a helpful hand when needed, become my Chiropractor, be a friendly bouncing board, always pop out with many funny comments, together we would spontaneously sing out back and forth, yard to yard, "You load 16 tons, and what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt? St Peter don't you call me, cause I can't go I owe my soul to the Company Store".
I know of no other person that deserves more to be in "The arms of an Angel right now", may Denis "Find some comfort here".
Bless Denis and His great Family. "Hi Denis - Miss You!"

My deepest sympathies Halina and all family members. Such a deep loss!
I have worked as a massage therapist for 12 years in Blackburn and Dr. Cyr was always there if I needed if I needed to refresh on some scientific information or if my back needed a quick chiropractic adjustment. I will remember him most for his devotion to his clients. And as a therapist, for accepting me the way I was, interested in less conventional techniques and referring the clients who could benefit from them. A great man who made a difference! He gave all he had, even when we could see him very tired. Blessings to all who loved him and who will miss his joyful presence!

A visit to Dr. Cyr was always good for the body and the soul. For over twenty years he would greet me by saying “How’s the man?” We would chat and laugh, and what always came through was how much he loved his practice, his patients and especially his family. We are all extremely fortunate to have known such a truly wonderful man.

Dear Cyr family - I was shocked to learn of Denis's passing. I had not been in his office the last few months because of COVID and I didn't even know he was ill. I had been his patient for thirty years and, like so many of his patients, I had developed great personal rapport with him. Not only did he help me immensely with my back, he was a terrific guy to be with. Always so positive, so competent and with such a great sense of humour. We will remember him forever. My family (also his patients) join me in offering our most sincere condolences to you and to his dedicated staff.

I was very sorry to hear of Dr. Cyr's death. I was a patient for several years (though not recently as I had back surgery which lessened my need of his care) and both of my children were his patients as well. We had enormous respect for his knowledge and professionalism and we enjoyed his wonderful sense of humour.

My son Davey Farrall was in the same class as Nicolas so our families knew each other a little bit also. He was such a help when one of Davey's legs was growing at a different rate from the other and causing him quite a bit of discomfort. We were so grateful for his diagnosis and helpful solutions to the issue. As for me, I don't know what I would have done without his care over the years I was suffering.
He contributed so much to his community, helping so many people, that he will never be forgotten. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of this exceptional man.

Deepest Condolences: Remembrance of Denis Cyr: The loss of Your Dear Husband and Father.
To Halina, Liana, Phillipe and Rong, Nick and Families and Friends. From: Mona and Paul Jones.
By Mona Rampersaud-Jones.

With heavy hearts and profound grief, we remember Denis. His special lantern will radiate the same glow in eternity as it was in his temporal life.

Your true family holds a sacred trust for you. There is a holy, a beautiful and truly wonderful covenant of unconditional acceptance. That, I know for sure, is one of the most meaningful aspects of Denis’ love. When someone truly can be trusted to see who you are and want what's best for you: A precise description of Denis as a husband, father, a friend, a professional doctor, a neighbor. The list goes on.

I can narrate a few things I observed about Denis over my lifetime of the approximately 40 years that I knew him. Really, they’re not about a number of years. They are more about a way of life, preferably, states of being. Like Denis’ unfailing high-mindedness, compassion, high fashion acumen for practicality, his generosity of spirit, firmness of will, especially his examples of friendliness, kindness, helpfulness and generosity. To know Denis is to cherish him. To experience Denis is to love him. To remember him, brings a smile especially, his good humor.
Every minute now holds a volley of momentous memories. Stringed in symphonic symmetry, his generous spirit, carved in the corridors of his noble soul, imprinted on the contours of his handsome face, a rainbow of kindness, a heart of grace and goodness. The stage of Denis’ biography now hangs like shooting stars on display in a solar photo gallery.

Good bye old friend, I think of you often and was very sad upon hearing of your passing. We talked many times over the years about so many subjects. I was particularly touched when you talked to me about our common experience with cancer. You helped me with my health for decades and I remember the day you told me I was one of your earliest patients. The world won't be the same without your smile.
