Major John Marshall Pickard (retired), passed away on Friday, February 5th, at the age of 91. John was predeceased by his loving wife Carmen (2014), and is survived by his three children, Nancy, Jim (Liz), and Jill Anne (Bryan); five grandchildren, Josh (Hailey), Alex (Mindy), Cara, Emma, and Morgan; and four great-grandchildren, Sophia, Graydon, Felix, and Quinn. John was the last surviving sibling of five, all born in Tampico, Mexico, where his father worked in the oil industry. John served in the RCAF for 35 years and was posted overseas for three years. There will be no visitation or funeral at this time, but condolences may be left at www.beechwoodottawa.ca . See ya, Pops... xox
