We had the pleasure and luck to be Lorain and Mark's next-door neighbours for seven years. Lorain was so welcoming, friendly, creative, generous and warm. She cared about her family and friends with so much love, and frequently cooked, baked, and shared her creative discoveries and projects with us. She was always improving her home and yard, delighting in the results. We had fun times catching up between our two yards, sharing BBQ dinners and neighbourhood events. She shared the joys she felt in being a grandma, mom, wife, golfer and traveller. We will miss you, Lorain.

Mark, Lory and I would like to express our deep sorrow on hearing of Lorain’s passing. We will always remember the adventures in Germany, our settling in Cold Lake to grow our families and the move to Ottawa though short, was again a place we shared. It is with great fondness we remember Lorain, and our hearts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
